Every once in a while it’s fun to get away to a world of whimsy and fun and no one knows that better than Art Millican Jr.
A former Disney artist and imagineer, Art moved to the North Georgia mountains after retiring and created Sleepy Hollow a world of whimsy and color that brings the worlds of fairys, gnomes and hobbits to life in a way that’s fun for everyone.
Sleepy Hollow consists of a shop where many of Millican’s creations are available for purchase (as well as addition fairy and bird watching supplies) and a short nature trail that winds through fairy houses and hobbit holes varying in size from bird houses to play houses for kids and adults alike. There’s no charge for the trail, but you may want to bring some spending money in case you decide to purchase a bird house or play house.
The studio, enchanted gardens and gift shop is open to the public from Monday thru Saturday, 9:30am-4:30pm. Allow an hour or more to spend time exploring the trail and gardens.
